Position: Senior Electronic Engineer Post Date: Apr 30, 2008 Monessen Hearth Systems in Paris, Kentucky is seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer who will be a key member of the Remote Control System Team. As such, the individual will develop embedded microcontroller-based control systems for fireplace applications that meet defined schedules, specifications, reliability and cost goals; maintain and improve the quality and cost of the products; actively pursue new features and cost reduction into the design and production of the remote controls, as well as implement the product design changes; provide technical interface with Marketing, Technical Service, Quality Control, customers and suppliers; and manage outsourcing and coordinate projects with Asian suppliers. Qualified applicants should possess at least a Master degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, as well as the ability to communicate in Chinese. The individual should also possess at least one year of experience with C/C++ and Matlab programming. Individual must also be proficient in using a PC in a Microsoft environment.
